Lowpoly 3D Stationary

This pack contains over 100 low-fidelity 3D models based on real-world stationary items. This includes pens, notebooks, bottled inks, erasers, stencils, and tapes, all with the aesthetic of belonging in a 3D game from the late 90's to early 00's.

This pack of 3D models was built on a few consistent principles:

  1. Keep to lowpoly modeling and pixel art principles to create models that look like they'd fit into a game on the PlayStation, N64, or Dreamcast
  2. Use real-world, metric measurements on all items to keep scales consistent
  3. Only deviate from the look of the references when text is large enough to create a copyright issue
  4. All models reference the same texture atlas, thus share one material

The models are, additionally, game engine agnostic. For convenience, the models are provided both in FBX and GLTF formats, but there is no difference between how both formats are packaged.

Setup

  1. Import the models into your game project (either the FBXs or GLTFs, depending on what your engine supports)
  2. Import the stationary.png texture to your game project
  3. Create a material that uses the texture and set it to use Closest or Nearest Neighbor texture filtering
  4. Have all the models use that one material
